EXP 3 Final Submission: 3D Model

Plans
First Floor Plan

Second Floor Plan

3D Model

The bridge school connects the Squarehouse and the UNSW Fitness and Aquatic Centre.

A large amount area of yellow glass has been used on the buidling's exterior. I was planned to use bule glass, but at last I changed to yellow because it is much "warmer".

The texture applied on the building facade gives an idea of continuous.

The main idea of my design is to give a central space to provide communication between staffs and students. Rooms are arranged around the central part, and can be go down or up by using the central elevator. Workshop, library, lecture room, computer lab and gallery for students to present their best work, are defined as large public area, each of them are located at a corner of the building, directly face to the centre. Studio spaces, Offices for both academic and general staffs, the research space and meeting rooms are defined as multiple private area, are arranged along corridors.
The central space on the second floor.
