EXP 2 Combined Model

Concept 1by Peter Stutchbury: A play of natural lighting through slits in the                                   walls and roof.

Concept 2 by Kazuo Shinohara: Create an illusion of large space using high walls                               and single elements which stands out visually from                               the ground floor.

Electroliquid Concept: Create an illusion of large space by using high walls with                        slits that natural lights come through.

As the sudivided project is really annoying, I decide to use the oringinal one to put in lumion.

EXP 2：3 Parallel Projections

Concept 1: The unification of inside and out by blurring the definition of windows and doors.

Concept 2: Use of thin materials to minimise the distinction between the constructed and the natural world.

New Concept: Create unification of inside and outside by using thin materials and blurring the definition of windows and doors.

Concept 1: Use of logical shape to create illogical movement.

Concept 2: Appreciation of chaos.

New Concept: Chaos of logical shapes create illogical movement.

The final model is developed from the second draft model. The between part has been divided into two separate floors for clients to sell their products. The above part is for Christian Benner Custom to design and complete their works, not a large space but very good natural daylighting. And Hazan Motorworks can have their activity in the undergound large space. The four expansive shining volumes are covering around the main activity area, make the building more like a diamond.
